Apache PHP & MySQL updates

We are starting to update the servers not yet updated to the latest versions of Apache, PHP, and MySQL today.

Servers in the queue are 206.212.253.24-34-44-54-11-50

Also 206.212.253.54 has been a small server running register_globals=on for the past 2 years, and has less than 40 domains on it. That one is being fully upgraded and register_globals is being turned off. It is no longer possible to use that function in php at Page-Zone. And soon won't be possible at all, anywhere.

The server hardware on sb-54 is also being completely replaced, box and all, to bring the hardware up to the high standards of our other servers.

All of our other servers were completed overnight.
All are now all running Apache 2.2, Mysql 5, php5, with no changes made different from the former configuration of each service.

The new versions are noticably faster running. The two minute monitor we run, which checks every server and retrives a page from every server appears to go through the list of checked websites in less than half the time. Downloading 15 server generated pages (php/mysql) in about five seconds, where (for years) it has always taken 10-15 seconds to run down the list.
