How do I log into an email account I created as opposed to the main email you set me up with?
On any email account that YOU create in Cpanel the login username will be the full email address of that account. For example if you create an email on your domain name called bob, the login username will be
bob@yourdomain.com
The account also has a main email account which exists by default and it is based upon the main username of your account. For example yourdomain.com may have been created with the login username of yourdoma. This main email account receives all unrouted mail (anything@yourdomain.com) as well as mail sent to
yourdoma@yourdomain.com, but the mail login for that email account, since it is the default email account is "yourdoma" NOT
yourdoma@yourdomain.com.
Problems can arise when you go into cpanel and specifically create an email account called "yourdoma". It will allow the creation of the account but will cause problems, so we advise that you do not do this. If you have done it already, you would need to log in (twice) to check your mail using both usernames ("yourdoma" & "yourdoma@yourdomain.com").
