Yeah, it is difficult, but I don't know if
any email
anywhere really works these days.
I
was recommending that people get a HotMail, Yahoo!, or Gmail account, to use for really essential email, since they have huge resources, but guess what? Yahoo! just canned my email there without any recourse, saying in a no-reply type email that I had somehow broken their terms of service. I have no way of knowing if someone hijacked my account there or spoofed my ID -- or what -- since Yahoo! does not respond to my queries.
I still have Gmail c/w POP and SMTP, and it works, but that could change any day. After all, Yahoo! once allowed free POP and SMTP, but pulled the rug out one day.
FWIW, I think Yahoo! is on the skids and that Google is going to bury them fast, but, then Google is the Good Guy now, and gives me free POP and SMTP, but what will they be next year?
HotMail still works and hasn't changed, but who knows? There is no free, at least, POP and SMTP -- anymore. That's gone, long ago.
Am I getting all my Gmail and HotMail? How would I ever know? I know I am not getting my Yahoo! mail
It's war out there. Page-Zone is doing what it can, and is pretty good, but, then there is a lot of trash trying to swamp the servers, and when a wave hits, things go wrong sometimes. As for filtering attachments, I suppose that has to be worked out with Jim. Maybe special arrangements are possible.
Hmmm. As I was about to hit 'submit', I see several emails dated Nov 1 arriving

Whatever!

BTW, I just switched from paying monthly to paying a year ahead.
