550 connection denied after dictionary attack

Hey Guys,

I am getting 550 connection denied after dictionary attack error message whenever I try to send emails... I can recive them just not send them....

Any clues as to what is going on???

A while back I'd been locked out of a site after trying to login to admin directories. The firewall blocked my ip as though I'd been trying to break in. I'm the owner of that site but after so many attempts it had me locked out.

Tech support reset things after I sent in all the details in a support ticket. Now I'm not sure that's happening in your situation with sending mail, but it sounds like some server security tool could be trying to protect the server.

Thats the same info I have managed to track down through a "Google it encounter". I have put in a support ticket request, so hopfully they can get this sorted..

For the life of me I dont know what it was that went wrong, I was just checking emails and awas going to send an email to my brother and ... nothing.. The thing is, it is on 2 other accounts that I dont send email through.. But, and this is the kicker... I can send email through webmail using the same account...

Well this is getting stupid, 2days and no reply from the help desk, not even to say were busy please wait, or just go away and leave us alone, nothing.

WHATS GOING ON... where are the support staff that is much vaunted....

Well I would laugh, but now the whole server has gone down (server 4) with hard drive problems.....

Oh, and vaunted = praised, just in case anyone was wondering......

Day 3 and no reply from the help desk, I wonder how long I will go before I get a response, anyone know the record for non response from the help desk???
