Joomla Component Security Issues

New vulnerabilities MAY have been found in several third party components used widely in Joomla.

If you have Joomla sites, I'd suggest checking this post from Alledia.com on the problems.

The title is referring to how notification of the possible security flaw was handled.

edit- As more information is available- some of the original reports of vulnerabilities have been removed from the original posters website. If this report turns out to be bogus (or confirmed) I'll update this thread.

Until I get more information (that can be verified) concerning reports of the newly discovered security flaws in third party components, here is a list of components with confirmed security risks (as of June 21, 2007).

While there are no known security risks with the current version of Joomla 1.0.13 there are older third party components that need to be removed or updated-
