Email forwards - 05-09-2003, 03:56 PM

Hi all,

I have a client set up to forward all his email to his sbcglobal account. However, he keeps getting messages:
The mailbox bbarron@wmbarron.com is almost full. You should remove some emails from the box as soon
as possible to prevent losing any future mail. This mailbox is currently 80.44% full.

If his email is forwarding , why is it staying on the Page-zone server?

TIA,
Jayne

I'm still getting use to cpanel, so I can't speak to what's up there, but does your client use Outlook Express?

If so, have them check their tools/account properties/advanced tab...and uncheck "leave a copy of messages on server"

If the mailbox exists it will keep a copy of the mail on the server. If you do not want a copy kept on the server delete the existing mailbox by removing the email account but leave the forwarder intact. Then mail coming in for that email address will only be forwarded.
