C Panel->File Mangager: empty trashcan don't work - 05-23-2003, 05:24 PM

Hello

I get problems when I try to:

1) Empty Trashcan

/interlin/.trash/cache/00002/158abd00b360767c1eed43943d89df1e': Permission denied rm: cannot unlink `/home/interlin/.trash/cache/00002/ab9a87a9d3c8a3eb64b284490ca10750': Permission denied rm: cannot unlink

2) Run "Delete this folder and all files under it"

mv: cannot overwrite directory `/home/interlin/.trash/ezpublish'

OK, the second occures due the first problem.

George

Usually the reason is very simple.

The owner of the files are not You.
They surely created by some php script.

Owner/user "nobody" for that files,so only nobody can delete that particular files.

Sometimes via FTP possible to delete,if not succeeded by CPanel.You must eneble to see the hidden files in your FTP client,oherwise you'll not see your TrashCan.

If all above fail,you may open a ticket.
