Full backup - 06-19-2003, 01:51 PM

There are lot of options to backup site content.
Most interesting for me the "Full Backup" since with few click possible to backup all information, database, mailinglist, email boxes,...everything.

The normal backup and restore functionality is separeted steps for
HOME,MySql,Filters and aliases.

The question is how possible to use this full backup file.
(i not see any option to restore full backup,or did i missing something)

There should be an "upload backup" option in cPanel.

Which theme are you using? In xController it's "Restore a Home Backup" which is in "Tools" (along with "download a full backup").

Restore a Home Backup
Restore a MySQL Database Backup
Restore an Alias/Filter Backup
all comes with upload from your local PC.

Full backup is different thing:
The internal structure is surely not valid for a simple "Home" backup.

Try to make one, download and you'll see the difference.

I know the normal Home/MySql/Aliases and Filter backup ,but this working different way.

No, you're absolutely correct I didn't pay enough attention to your question.

There should be someway to upload the entire archive once you have it locally, but it's not apparent.

Anyone out there have any insight? I even glanced around the xController support forum which had no information on this feature whatsoever.
