Free Who is module

Can anyone recommend a free Whois module to included in my hosting site? I have been using Ace Whois and it has been great, but has gone flakey on me with a move of their whois server.

Not sure what you mean by "whois module" but there are plenty of whois scripts around. There are also sites that have very good whois interfaces. You probably want to be able to answer any whois query so look for scripts that can search multiple whois servers. Keep in mind that whois is getting less useful as registrars can now hide domain ownership data from prying eyes.
