Kernel version

I notice that the server we are hosted on is still on kernel version 2.4.20-18.7 (Linux serve.*******2.net 2.4.20-18.7 #1 Thu May 29 08:32:50 EDT 2003 i686 unknown) while the current version from RH is 2.4.20-20.7 . Are there any plans to update the kernel soon ? I believe both of the releases since 2.4.20-18.7 were security fixes.

BTW, We've been very pleased with PZ. Keep up the good work.

Always upgrade when things are READY to be upgraded. Never before.

So what if the kernel has been upgraded. Has it been tested? Are their NEW security issues with the newer kernel? Is the kernerl working with cPanel? Email? etc...???

There are more things to look at than "there is a newer version".

PZ, update when YOU feel it is the right time and not before.
