removing default address

Can the default mail address be deleted and replaced? I can't find how to do it.

First one is send back and error msg by Mailer Dameon,
in this case the error msg is "550 User unknown"

Second one is discard all incoming mail,no error msg,
no E-mail,nothing.


First is polite and user friendly,however may create traffic if you receive lot spam.Spammer tends to like using
somegarbage@somehost.com
if catch all active,they can deliver the spam.

what I'm trying to do is delete the default account, then I want to recreate it. For some reason, the default account is not working as it should. Read my other post regarding 'Unrouteable address? '. That explains the problem I'm having.

I'm not sure the solution you've listed here will help.

I can't reach support on the phone "mailbox full" and I have not yet gotten an answer from JS.
