documentation on setting up SSL?

Hello,
I am looking for any sort of documentation to add SSL to an account. In the search I have found:

1) get a static IP address at the following:
http://www.page-zone.com/paysystems
(at this time, the country field is not populated when trying to checkout and I can not get past the error this creates, I assume this is a temporary error and I can proceed with this at a later time)

2) install the agora shopping cart - I have done this, added items, and receive half the CC number in email, and logon to the cart page for the other half, though this is not using any encryption as this time and is not accessible to the public.

3) purchase the SSL certificate.
I did a search for "SSL certificate" on google as Jim had recommended in another thread, and chose the first result. The first thing they want you to do is to generate a CSR (Certificate Signing Request) They (the SSL issuer) give intructions how to do this in CPanel but I cannot find a link to get to that in CPanel-x theme on my PZ account.

4) After purchasing the SSL certificate, I know it needs to be installed, but not even getting to this point I am not sure of any questions to ask about the installation.

So my questions are: Am I going about this correctly? Is there any documentation about this besides the bits and pieces I have gathered in the forums to create the above four steps? Any help or advice or direction is greatly appreciated.

Trying to find some guidance on this still.

Have also tried to buy tech support at the $20.00/hour rate at:

but still the country field (drop down box) does not populate during checkout and gives the error "Country field was left blank" which makes it impossible to actually pay for and receive the tech support or any other item from this page. Could someone else check to see if they receive the same behavior? Is there any other way to actually go about receiving help?

any ideas?

I know that skyline (forum member) had extensive experience with SSL certs, and got hers to work fine. There is also a thread, which you prob have seen if you did the search at:

which at the end details what I think you said you knew.

Send sky an email and she will probably share what she did.
