email blocking? - 10-09-2003, 03:30 AM

I have no filters set up yet is seems some mail is being returned to certain places as undeliverable that I want to get.

One such place was callingcard.com. Their mail was rejected.
I buy phonecards from there.

I have no idea why they should have been rejected.

Mailwasher ? - 10-09-2003, 09:33 AM

Didn't you mention that you use Mailwasher?

If so, then check the blacklist and/or filter list.

I use Mailwasher but it can create problems if you do not watch your blacklist (or other settings).

I set my blacklist to only last one day - so it does not become large and hide 'blocks' that I did not mean to have. i.e. I've learned the hard way that Mailwasher can 'zap' some mail that I didn't intend to 'zap'

My blacklisted email shows up on my lists and I can delete them when I 'process mail'.

I do not have it set to automatically delete blacklisted emails.

The only problem is me. I have the ability to check or not the 'delete' box on each message, and have been known to delete some ones I wish I hadn't. And you can't get them back since it is gone from the mail server. Luckily, it was from a client who could resend. I was sure to check the 'friend' box from then on on ones I wanted to keep.

I'm running mailwasher pro 3.2 (with beta CFS spam database)
