In the process of playing around with Gallery, I ended up with abandoned files owned by the web server ("nobody"). I was able to move them to the trash can using the file manager, but can't delete them and can't change their attributes from 644.

Any ideas?

"root" beats "nobody". You will have to submit a ticket and we will delete it as root.
