How do you administor and change the look of the phpBB?
There doesn't seem to be any documentation. I could go in and start messing with stuff, but I'd rather not go in blind...

The best place to start would be the "styles" section of the phpBB website:

http://www.phpbb.com/styles/

There you'll find lots of info including documentation on how to create your own templates, modify existing styles, or use templates created by others.

If you're looking at just doing a complete template swap-out there's a great style browser at:
