Do we have Python? - 05-25-2004, 03:31 PM

Is Python available on page-zone servers?

I would like to experiment with Zope and Plone. Does anyone have any experience with these?

Thank you one and all.

Python cgi script? - 02-05-2005, 08:59 PM

When I access a Python script directly as a web page in my browser, the script executes without any problem. However, when I use the Python script in a web page:

<form METHOD="POST" ACTION="/scgi-bin/test.py">

I get the following error. According to documentation on the apache.org, it is a server configuration problem
http://httpd.apache.org/docs/howto/c...tillnotworking

Method Not Allowed
The requested method POST is not allowed for the URL /scgi-bin/test.py

Old post revisited. Is Python still available? Specifically the new ohio server? I have never used it, but would like to access the script for creating google sitemaps.

whereis python
python: /usr/bin/python

If you have shell, try that. There is much more listed for python, in addition to the above.

Also try:

info python
