email quotas new? mailbox is full!

I just yesterday stopped getting email on several accounts in my domain (server 8.) I was looking around this morning and discovered an option I hadn't seen before in the cpanel: email quotas. Are they new? Mine seemed to all be set at 20 megs (we use IMAP not POP3 since we use multiple machines to check email) and 20 megs is not large enough for several of the accounts.

That said, I deleted the quota on the accounts and all of a sudden email started coming through again. I was getting "mailbox is full" messages from other accounts (like my msn account) when sending to my domain account.

Thought I'd post that here in case anyone else runs into it, and to hopefully find out if this quota thing is new, or if it's something that we all of a sudden started running into because the accounts got big enough.

In your cpanel account, in email, the POP account has an MB in the line with the account. Click on it and set your quota. Be aware that the cumulative MBs add up and may exceed the account authorized MB.
