delayed emails

Seems like every few weeks I have groups of emails that arrive DAYS after they were sent. According to the headers, they are hanging on the the "root12" server. It's happened enough times now to be a concern.

Anyone know what the deal is with this and how to stop it?

what server are you on? If it isn't 12, may be some routing problem. I don't know how PZ has their mail server set up. Maybe it's directing your mail through 12? (if that's not your server)

I'm on twelve. As an example, one mail was "received from serve.wwwroot12.net with smtp (Exim 4.52)for me@my-domain.com; Fri, 04 Nov 2005 11:14:42 -0500"

But not delivered to the pop account until "Sun, 06 Nov 2005 21:08:46 -0800 (PST)."

It happens with multiple accounts, on multiple domains, all on the same server. Some are pop accounts and others are forwarded-only addresses.
