WordPress And PageZone

I have several accounts using PageZone and WordPress.

Over the last several weeks they have slowed to a crawl.

The latest, http://www.wisspringleague.com/ has just a single entry and is awfully slow to load. Additionally the WordPress and seemingly all PHP pages are very slow. Is anyone else seeing these kinds of problems.

Can anything be done? Is anything being done?

I would submit a help ticket but seem hopelessly locked out of the system.

It does load slow -

I'm on a different server, but also in Sacramento. I see a slight delay with my php sites, like WP and Mambo.

Have you looked into support through any of the WP forums? You might find a fix. Most times if something loads slow, or incorrectly, many admins will have the same complaint.

I checked through all the logs last night for that domain, and the main apache log and didn't see any errors. But also didn't see a lot of 200 codes. A lot of 304 codes though. And yes, it is very slow loading. But the server load is low and other php generated pages I checked load normally.

If there are any addons, modules?, not sure what Wordpress calls their addons, maybe try disabling them one at a time.

mysql has a few entries in the error log every few days having to do with databases not found (not that domain though).

Prior to the data center changing the power source 4 days ago it was up about 100 days. I just updated the kernel 4 days ago as well, and rebuilt Apache/php to see if that would help anything. Prior to that nothing was changed the last 100 days. You're correct that Fantastico is slow but it only seems slow in the XController theme for some reason. And cpanel, whm, fantastico uses a whole different installation of apache & php.

I still suspect its an addon but you may want to clean up the database and make sure all the tables are repaired and optimized.

Actually now that I check dns it doesn't resolve to our server now - but its still slow.
