too many subscibers on phplist? - 06-23-2007, 09:11 PM

Wonder if anyone else has seen this & could comment:

We have phplist for a handful of client. 99% of them have less than 200 people subscribed to their mailing lists, and phplist is great for them. But we have one that had 700+. His messages never made it to all 700+ people. It never give us errors or anything, but when we'd test with various subscribers, they'd never see it. The problem got worse as more people subscribed. He eventually moved his list to Namaste.

So now I have my own list that's been on mojo for a zillion years now that has 700+ people. I'd like to move it to phplist so I can start doing an actual eNews with photos and such. But I fear the same thing happening where subscribers never get the messages.

Has anyone else seen this behavior with phplist? Fixed it somehow? Am I missing a set up option for batching that would make it work better?

Or if we stick with mojo, does anyone know how we might upgrade it to be able to do html with it?

Thanks for any leads!
miracles,
k-
