Bandwidth Issues - 05-29-2008, 11:09 AM

Hello.
Two of my customers are having the same issue.
In webalizer, their pageviews jumped from about 5000 pageviews per month to 1,300,000 pageviews per month. Their websites have not changed, they do no marketing, and their unique visitors and visitors have remained the same.
Has someone hijacked our bandwidth? And if so, how can I check this to block the ip?
Or does someone have some other suggestions about this issue?
It is causing them to lose bandwidth and their accounts are suspended every single month.

Use awstats and look at the top files. That may tell you want is going on. They may have an image that is being used on a popular site, for instance. The referrer list will help you narrow down the culprit too.
