Exclamation WebDAV & Subversion Integration/Configuration - 08-05-2008, 10:34 AM

I found out that Jim already had been compiled (I think installed) WebDAV. But i 'm in wonder whether or not it is possible to configure both WebDAV and subversion for accessing repositories by Http:// or Https:// protocols. I've googled for a "how to" but most of the answers talks about editing the "httpd.conf" file that needs root privileges.
Any idea to configure them to work together properly without root permissions? Or perhaps Jim helps us about this issue if it's not matter.

Thanks folks;

We have been looking into this and it is a function that will be integrated into cPanel itself by the developer in the coming months. As far as changing httpd.conf there are a few changes we would need to make to the file to make it work now, as well as recompile apache. This would remove apache on that server from being compiled by the cpanel software, and something we do not want to get into. As soon as we do that, other bugs will spring up, and cpanel will not support the product any longer. It can be done on a dedicated VPS, but not a shared cPanel servers. Sorry about that.
