Q.) Will you move my websites?
A.) We can move your websites to our server if they are coming from a cPanel based server only. You will need to submit a list, with passwords after your initial account is created or the location of the files that have been placed on our server.
There is a limit of 25 websites restored by us from your cPanel backup free of charge.
A charge of $2.00 per website will be charged for anything over the 25 website limit.
More information on website moving can be found here.
We cannot move any websites in from other control panels, or edit websites to work on our server.
Q.) Do you provide free personalized name servers?
A.) Yes, we provide shared name server IP's for your personalized name servers. Simply use the same IP's that you see under the anonymous name servers that are shown in your welcome email from us. By the same token, your customers can also set up their own personalized nameservers in this manner.
Q.) Do you provide dedicated IP's?
A.) We can assign dedicated IP's to any website you desire, although there is a charge of $18 per year for each dedicated IP that we provision and the IP must be justified (SSL certificate or other reason). Similar to a domain name, IP's are only available on a yearly basis and cannot be charged monthly.
Q.) What are the versions of server software installed on the server?
A.) We run the latest up to date versions of Apache 2.2.x, php 5.2.x, FrontPage server extentions, MySQL 5.0, and all stock software that comes bundled with cPanel as well as Fantastico Autoinstaller.
Q.) Do you allow SSH access?
A.) SSH can be activated on request. Please see full terms of service in regards to SSH access. TOS - #9
Q.) Where is your server status page?
A.) The server status page
here is also linked from our support page. We use a remote checker which checks every server each 2 minutes and attempts to retrieve content, as opposed to a simple ping which is not a complete check. This not only verifies the server is up, but Apache is delivering content. Clicking any IP will reveal the uptime and current server load.
Q.) I have more questions, where can I find the answer?
A.) If the Live Support button is active on the top of this page, simply click it. If not, still click it and send your question through the input form.
