FTP with Static IP

Can someone point me to a primer on how to properly setup FTP accounts on Page Zone servers? I have a static IP account, but I clearly do not know what I'm doing. It's easy to set up an FTP account if you give out the master password for the domain name, but that's not a good solution.

If you just want people to have subdirectories under your directory for their ftp space, just do this:

Go to cpanel; yourdomain.com/cpanel

go to FTP-> Manage accounts

Click on add user or add account.

Then just create their username password, and name the directory that they will be using.

This will create the directory and assign the proper permissions for them to FTP
