website virgin ..cannot see text in my index page - 04-18-2003, 11:33 PM

this may seem like a simple question but I'm just a beginner .
I have developed by outline website in net object fusion MX and uploaded it into my public_html directory

However i canoot see the text that I typed into my index page , when I went into Cpanel I looked at my index html file and viewed it , but when i look at it online the ext does not appear .

This problem has occurred in my index page and one other page but the other pages are displaying text and pictures successfully

Have i made a basic error ? any advice

many thanks

I see the index page just fine on your site. It displays the text you included in your post (along with the side navigation and title).

As you said, both these URLs point to the same thing. I see the exact same thing regardless of which URL I use (http://www.windlefamily.org or http://windlefamily.org). Both appear to work fine for me.

Sadly I can't comment on why you may not be seeing it. I truly don't know. My only guess would be that you were looking at a cached version of the page on http://www.windlefamily.org. Does hitting refresh on your browser help?

Check your browser settings - 04-19-2003, 12:50 PM

Try This:
In IE (Internet Explorer) Go To tools along the very top.
Select Internet options - in the first tab "General" Select the middle section under Temporary intenet files and select "Delete files".
This will clear your cache - After this is complete (It takes a few minutes) Select "Settings" in the same section. Make sure the radio button is checked that says "Check for newer versions of stored pages" -- Every visit to the page.

Hope this helps

Jayne
