Angry Deleting mail on server - 04-28-2003, 08:13 PM

Is there some easy simple way to set rules on a P-Z POP account to delete messages forwarded from a particular email address on their arrival, without downloading them or opening Horde?

Have you considered creating a "blocking filter" through CPanel?

In Cpanel, click on Blockers under the E-Mail heading.
Click on Add Filter.
Select the appropriate choices from the two drop-down menus. I'd suggest From or Any Header for the first one and equals or contains for the second one.
In the text box, type in the e-mail address which you want blocked.
Click Activate
HTH,
John

Thanks. I have seen that feature, and forgot. I knew there had to be a way. Hope that I can set something up for forwards.

I had an old email account elsewhere, and forwarded it to my P-Z email as I phased it out, then, over time, all the mail from there became SPAM, since I was no longer using it.

Recently I contacted that provider and asked to have the account deleted. No response (That's partly why I left them).

So I just figure to blackhole anything coming from there.
