nice script

I was looking at news type script to see what was freely available before I tried to reinvent the wheel and found a little gem of a script.

It is really kind nice and easy to install and use and its flat file, a bonus for smaller sites.

I checked it out but it seems strange (maybe just me). To read the posts, I had to go to edit, and then I could edit any posting. Like an admin type. I was hoping for a forum type thingee.

Guess this is one where it pays to RTFM.
The default index page is the admin section. The script is designed to be used as a stand alone or easily incorporated into existing pages. Look at the example1.php and example2.php files in your browser.

this is a really neat way to have a forum/bulletin board without a mySQL or CGI program-based backend (I guess). I liked the example2 best. Thanks for pointing me to it. I'll do some more checking. My HS class is having a reunion and this may be a way to use to get some discussion going with low-bandwidth overhead.
