Yup, AC, DSL and big horn sheep up on the hillside. DSL is a bit slow compared to what I'm used to(cable) but it will do. I threw a half loaf of bread out the door and the magpies had it gone on about 1/2 hour. It was fun watching them fight and hop all around.
I'm working on
www.easybigsky.com right now, but am not in a big hurry. Fall??? its about 5 deg right now and will be down to 0 tomorrow night. The sky is clear and the stars are just waiting to be grabbed. I'd forgotten how the sky out west looks compared to the light polluted midwest.
Here is a couple of pics. I had more but I accessed my CF card with linux using my thumb card reader and for some inane reason it write protected the card and the only way after an hour of trying to unlock it was to use windows and reformat it causing me to lose the hundred or so pics I had on it. What really ripped me was that I discovered this as I was hiking up to Ouzel Falls so I didnt get any pics there either. And the falls looked great with runoff freezing into cicles on the canyon walls and water ouzels(a medium sized plain brown bird that dives for its food) playing/feeding in the half frozen creek. Arrggh!
