Accepting Online Payment - 08-03-2002, 04:31 PM

Three great ways to accept nearly any form of online payment are

Revecom - http://www.revecom.com
2Checkout - http://www.2checkout.com
and of course PayPal - http://www.paypal.com

Subscription services can be set up to automatically bill at all three of these sources, and I have found that it is easiest to use PayPal and one of the other choices.

Of course there are more than the three choices above but those three names always seem to surface to the top in any discussion on ways to accept payment for subscription services such as web hosting.

Along with that stuff above- does anyone have any recommendations for billing software??
I'm looking for something that will remind me when a customer's payment is due so I can mail out an invoice.

Thanks!

I use Quickbooks. I started with the DEMO version then upgraded to the full version.

You can also find older versions out there on ebay and the like.

Now Google joins the group of online payment processors with Google Checkout. It looks like they're trying to tie Google Checkout to their AdWords product.

Quote:
For every $1 you spend on AdWords, you can process $10 in sales for free. For sales that exceed this amount or if you don't use AdWords, you can process them at a low 2% and $0.20 per transaction
Here's an article from USA Today Google wants to handle your online checkout

They've got my attention.

Steve
