Bandwidth Limit Exceeded??

Tried everything to get xrfan.com working again, even upgraded the account and still not working?


ERROR MESSAGE:
Bandwidth Limit Exceeded
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to the site owner reaching his/her bandwidth limit. Please try again later.

Help desk is not working also. Even re-set password but still says that I am not logged in...

I can't help with your bandwidth question but I might be able to offer something on the help desk. Ever since my last Microsoft security update my MSIE won't let me into Page-Zone's Help Desk. It works fine from within Netscape/Mozilla though. So if you have either you can try that. I don't know what changed in MSIE. I still have cookies enabled, etc. If anyone else knows what's causing this I'd be interested to know too.

I just downloaded this week's MS security patch and I can now access the help desk via MSIE again.

that the previous patch kicked 600,000 users off of the internet (access) so maybe that was part of the problem.

getting to where you can't trust anyone, even MS 'upgrades'...

Pfff, remember NT SP 6.0? That's the reason they came up with 6.0a so quickly. This was so bad a MS showed up at 11PM trying to fix a SQL/OLAP problem which I had to sell to the Spanish Dept. of Trade the next morning at 10AM.

Never EVER install an update unless some time has gone by. Let the world be your beta tester and keep reading the newsgroups until the world is happy with it (or offers workarounds).
