FTP access into new account before Domain Resolution

I am a new reseller here.

My main reseller domain is still propagating also. Don't know if this has any bearing.

I've added several accounts and want to upload the sites to the accounts, but can't figure out how to ftp into those new accounts or pull up the cpanel for those new accounts.

Is there a way to do this before the domain change propagates?

    Thanks.

did you get your 'welcome' email?

the email that welcomes you to PZ has a lot of instructions in it, including how to do the above. If you didn't get it, let us know and I will get mine out and see if I can work you through it.

You mentioned you might be still propagating - that could slow things down for FTP - it would show 'not found' in most cases.

Important thing is your IP address in the welcome email. Do you have it?

I have the IP address and am able to FTP into my reseller account and have transferred files no problem.

I have set up a couple of new accounts (domains) that I host and the nameserver changes have not propagated. These are the accounts I'm trying to get FTP access to and can't figure out.

I read the email and didn't see anthing about accessing new accounts via FTP.

I printed out the text that is created when adding a new account.

    I figured out my issue.

Using the same IP address as my reseller account and using the user name and password of the new account I was able to use FTP to get into these new accounts.

This was not readily apparent to me because my other hosting account had my "virtual hosts" located under my main reseller account.
