Install cPanel on your VPS

Should you choose to install cPanel/WHM on your VPS yourself, this can be accomplished in a few easy steps. Installing yourself would mean you must procure a license from a qualified cpanel license vendor.

Once your VPS is running and you are logged in via SSH command line access, simply type these two commands at the prompt to get and install the cpanel files:

sh ./latest

The install process should begin automatically and usually takes up to an hour. Once finished you log into WHM using the main IP of the server.

http://{SERVER IP}:2086 - Thats the servers IP address, a colon and the port number 2086 (no spaces).

NOTE - If you ordered your cPanel license through us, it will be delivered, installed.
